Today I made a tutorial for the chibitronics blog on how to make this card twinkle with lights. I used the Chibitronics effect stickers, they are super fun! If you want to see how I made it, hop on over to this blog post and you can see the inside of the card and learn how to make one by yourself.
I absolutely love this happy crocodile, he is so adorable. He's from Heffy Doodle stamps, who also made the tiny press here stamp from a set that is perfect for interactive cards. I also used some of the opaque embossing powders by WOW to make the background, they look almost fluorescent against the black background. The dotted stamp is by Dylusions/Ranger ink.
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I think I will spend the day in the sofa, listening to a good audiobook and knitting. I think that would be an excellent way to spend the afternoon. Or should I go craft something? I really can't decide. Weekends with no plans are my favourite thing!
It was only like last week when it started to hail and snow so much that it actually covered the ground for a few hours. And this week it's +25C and summer, flowers everywhere and I absolutely love this time of year. So how fitting that the challenge for May at Spectrum Noir is flowers. I used a pretty flower stamp that Marion Emberson designed for WOW Embossing powders. I haven't had the chance to ink it up but I had a few hours of fun coloring it up with the new AquaBlend pencils by Spectrum Noir and then shaded them with ColourBlend pencils and I might even have used the Spectrum Sparkles on top. I love using the AquaBlends on top of Sheena cardstock, it blends really good and it's easy to stamp on because it's perfectly smooth. I used a lighter ink to mimic the no line coloring style, but I left it dark enough for the details to show.

I'm happy to take part in a final blog hop with the former and new DT of WOW Embossing powders. These ladies are amazing and I have really loved being a part of the team. I hope you will hop the whole way around and be inspired by all the pretty creations. I will look back on my time on the team fondly and am a lucky lucky girl to get the opportunity to not only use the fab products but to make my own designs and see them made into stamps. But most of all I appreciate the friendship, all the laughs and inspiration I've got through the team.
I hope the new girls will enjoy being on the team as much as I have, I can't wait to see all their creations. They are a fantastic talented and creative bunch. Welcome to the world of WOW :)
I want to thank Tania for letting me be a part of this wonderful journey <3 And that's enough talk, let's look at some creations ;)

I could of course not resist a chance to show off my latest stamp set, Mariposa, and my favourite stamp in it this huge butterfly. I embossed it on vellum using Sugar Plum and Under the Sea glitter embossing powder. I also used WOW bonding powder to foil the sentiment from Big Words in the lovely Blush color of Fab Foils. I also foiled the border stamp from Pick 'n Mix for one of the side for some extra shine.
Here's a close up, the card glitters and shines so it was so hard taking pictures to show it off.
As a bonus here's a card I made a while back and never blogged. Again it's the big butterfly from Mariposa together with sentiment from Pick 'n Mix. The butterfly is embossed using Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder and the sentiment with Opaque Bright White Embossing powder. I watercolored around it the embossing, it work as a resist so the color only ends up on the paper and not on the images. One of my favourite embossing techniques.
Today I'm up at the WOW blog with this card showing one of the stamps in the new set I designed for WOW. It's called Mariposa and it has this big butterfly and then some smaller and a flock of tiny ones. I googled it and a group of butterflies are apparently called a kaleidoscope which I think is a good name for it. Now I need to make a rainbow colored kaleidoscope of butterflies.
Anyways, made this card using the lage butterfly and when I designed the set I wanted it to take up almost a full standard sized cardfront. I was so happy when I finally got to use it on a card because it looked just like I wanted it to. I'm super happy how it turned out. I embossed it with Black Twinkle embossing powder and then colored with Spectrum Aquas and added a coating of clear Sparkle pen on top and look at all the glitter. I did a small happy dance when I took the pictures ;)
I used Pick n Mix, another of my stamp sets, for the sentiment and decorated with gold thread and some clear sequins.
Today is the day we celebrate christmas in Sweden so I wanted to wish you all a very merry christmas! I do it by posting all my left over christmas projects that haven't made it to the blog before. I hope you find something you like and I'm so glad you stopped by.
These are tea bag dispensers, I learned to make them by my very nice table neighbours on the crop I went to a few weeks ago. I did a tutorial on them for the Crafters Companion UK advent calendar so If you are interested you should check out their blog.
I made this with stuff I had out on the desk one day.
This one is kinda cute, I love the bird by Winnie & Walter <3
This is not a christmas card but I made it on the crop and thought I'd share it anyways.
I could not let the negatives go to waste when making the other card so this is a bonus one.
For a sketch challenge at the crop, I even used some patterned papers for this!
And lastly a gold embossed little thing, pretty fun with the cute pine cones!
I hope you have a wonderful holiday and get some spare time to enjoy some crafting too.
I'm up at WOW! today with this card where I used one of my new diecuts by Winnie & Walter and covered it with the new Mistletoe Magic embossing powder. It's super glittery and pretty. Hop on over to the WOW! blog to see all of the card and read about how I made it.
I hope you are having a great weekend! I'll be back again soon with a new project. Hope to see you back then :)
Today it was time for my mixed media project for CiLi in Papers, usually I make a page in my Art Journal but this time I wasn't in the mood so I made four mixed media cards instead. Well, they aren't so much mixed media as made with some supplies I usually don't use as often on cards.
This one is embossing paste with embossing powder on top.
This one are a plaid that I painted using Distress paint. I masked off the stripes using post it tape to make them equally wide. I like the layering of colors because you can see the stripes in the color since I added it with the dauber.
Here's just the left over from the previous card.
I went a little crazy with the Distress Paints, I drew triangles and made free hand lines and went nuts with the stamps. Very artsy, not my fav but I was in the mood to play so I decided on keeping it because as long as you have fun it doesn't have to be perfect, right? I do have a bit too much OCD to do this all the time but once in a while it's fun!
See you soon! Until then, have a great weekend and take care :)
Today one year ago I started my Etsy shop Pretty Crafty Stuff. Since then I started the Facebook page (that you really should check out if you haven't) and I've got an amazing DT that posts equally amazing projects once a week there. I've also seen some of my designs turned into stamps thanks to the great people at WOW Embossing powders. I really couldn't imagine all that when I was starting out making a few cut files a year ago. I hope I can continue making files, even if it is mostly for fun PCS is my baby and I'm really enjoying the creative outlet that it is.
This card was made using one of the files on top of a watercolored background. You can't tell by the photo but the cutout is covered in clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen so it's shimmery and pretty.
I'm so happy I've got so many supporting friends that lifts me up and makes me believe I can do stuff like this. I could not have done it with out help from all of you, I'm not even going to try to list names because you are many and I don't want to forget anyone. But a special thanks to Mary Dawn, Petra and Christin in the DT that keeps posting so many pretty projects using the files and coming up with ideas for new files. You guys are the best <3
Here's my creation for WOW! this month. The current theme is Not a card and I kinda cheated by making a pretty much card sized Art Journal page ;) For all the details and supplies hop on over to the WOW! blog and take part in this months challenge to have a chance to win some lovely WOW! products. You know you want them! Just make sure to use some WOW! product or heat embossing on your creation.
Today I'm up with my last guest post at the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft blog. I used my Flight of Fancy stamps to make a card. To customise the images I doodled on the leafs and colored them using Gelatos. For full instructions and material go see my post here.
Here's a sneak peek of my project. I hope you get inspired to play around with altering your own stamped images. It's a great way to stretch your stamps!
I had a great time playing with all of the products they sent me for the guest posts and even though I got free product the opinions I share about them are my own.
