I keep making LOs with my daughter, she loves having her picture taken and my son makes these funny faces everytime. But he asked me if I couldn’t do a LO with him on it so I looked through my stash of printed photos and found this. He is such a clever boy. He thinks of the most amazing things and it reminds me of myself. I took this picture when he didn’t see me, so no funny face ;)
I made it for DESIGN in PAPERS this week, using some more wanderlust and a piece of a Maggie Holmes paper and an overlay.
I’m happy with this one, it’s soft and dreamy just like my son. Thanks for stopping by!

I made these two cards for DESIGN in PAPERS using the Wanderlust collection from Studio Calico. I really like how they turned out, it is such a fun collection with all kinds of styles.
I used some transparent letters from the same collection to spell out the word Hej! (hello). They are really cute and comes in many colors in a little book.
Today is my first solo post for DESIGN in PAPERS and I made a LO. I had a scrap piece of the grey striped paper from Studio Calico Wanderlust collection laying on my desk. Then I saw the umbrella and I started thinking. This was a really fun LO about my daughter who always concentrate 100% on everything she does, it is really hard to get her attention when she is in her own little world. Here she is watching tv.
I had so many great embellishment to pick from and I love making LOs when I have lots of supplies. I wanted sort of an whimsical look.
I just loooooove these foam thickers from American Crafts. They look so nice since and I love the handwritten effect since I have terrible handwriting. You won’t see me jumping onboard the brush script trend any day soon ;)
Here’s a close up of my cute umbrella shielding my daughter from the rain...
I painted the background with a faint green watercolor glaze. It doesn’t show up in the pictures as much but it ties in the green puffy sticker with the rest of the design.
I’m really happy with this LO, I hope you got a bit inspired! Thanks for visiting!

Material:
American Crafts Dies Amy Tan Plus One
Studio Calico Wanderlust 12x12 pad
American Crafts Roller Stamp - Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm
Studio Calico Essentials Natural Wood Veneer Shapes - Stars
Tonic Studios Funky Tape Runner

I found this picture of my son holding my finger and wanted to scrap it. He was really tiny, just 950 gram and 35 cm tall when he was born 13 weeks premature. Now he is 7,5 years old and even though he is kind of short for his age it is hard to imagine he was that tiny.
This LO was hard to take pictures of, I made a backgroud with ink running, wood veneer stars, some metallic thread and sequins on and then I sewed a vellum sheet on top, It looks kind of dreamy like I wanted it but it doesn’t really show on the pictures.
I added sometherad and twine behind the picture also. I really like the messy look of thread right now. I try to come up with some new ways to use the thread, it is just fun!
New year, new beginnings. I started this one by giving my blog a small makeover and then cleaning up in my scraproom and under all the piles of junk and glitter I found some inspiration. Apparently it helps to have a desk to work on and some space to move around the chair. I got the idea of making a mason jar with text on it and make it like a shaker card filled with pretty stuff. I made cards making a pretty watercolor background and made one for the jar as well, I love how it turned out.. It looks kind of dreamy.
I did make a lid for the jar, embossing it and all but then I got the idea of letting some pf the happy in the jar burst out instead. I used some metallic thread and wood veneer for that. And I got to use some of my stickles.
The background turned out really pretty too, it’s texture paste mixed with some distress ink. The mask I cut out with my Cameo. I love making my own masks! I use some of the cardstock in odd colors I’ve got. You can use tha mask a couple of times depending on how much of a mess you make.
The picture is of my daughter Idun and her friend Freja, we had a photo session this fall and Frejas mother Jessica took this picture. The girls had a lot of fun :) I think it was the perfect picture for this LO.
I made this LO with the latest Studio Calico kit, I really liked this months kit. It’s just a simple LO made to remeber our very much loved dog who got ill recently. Unfortunetley he is no longer with us, it was a really hard desicion to make and it still hurts even thinking about it. Anyway, he was a great little dog and we loved him very much. I love this picture of him, laying in my knees while I cut his claws. He always had to protest just for show and this is his special not-very-happy-face ;)
