This months challenge at Spectrum Noir is all about summer. I used my AquaMarkers to create a water color card with white embossing, using an old Simon Says Stamp stamp that is super cute.
Aren't those scribbly flowers super cute. I mixed pinks and yellows to get a warm color with some variations.
Spectrum Aqua markers: Begonia, Gold, Evergreen, Aquamarine, Moss and Leaf Green. Spectrum Sparkle Pen in Clear overlay. Stamps by Simon Says Stamp and Winnie & Walter.
I made this card for my mom because it was mothers day here in Sweden last weekend. I was going to post it earlier but the post office decided to keep it a couple of extra days so I had to wait for it to get to her first. I was inspired by this hair combination tutorial: http://www.spectrumnoir.com/hair-color-combinations/ for her beautiful long hair. The inside of the card says "No wonder I'm your favourite. Happy mothers day" ;) I think she enjoyed it and I hope she shows it to my brothers :P

I made a tutorial for Spectrum Noir about airbrushing on top of heat embossed images. I made two backgrounds and used them to make these two cards. I love the background for this one. I embossed a Hero Arts background stamp and airbrushed it with soft pinks and yellows. The stamp is a digi from Some Odd girl that I actually never colored up before. I hope I'm not the only one that does that. Find something pretty and then forget about it ;)
On the second card I ironed off the embossing powder after airbrushing. That way it acts like a mask and gives a whole different look. This background stamp is also by Hero arts and the digi I got the same time as the other and this is the first time I use this too. Heh. But it's cute! I thought of my son who loves dogs more than anything in the world. I'll color it up like him for his birthday this summer if I haven't forgotten about it again.
I made this card for the wednesday challenge at SSS, I love using acetate to make clear details on cards. This time I made the whole front clear with sequins and wood stars in between and also a clear word fom Heidi Swapp.
I really like how this card turned out. I added some strips of Pebbles paper to have something to write under, the polka dots are stenciled on the inside of the card. Very fun!
I love finding challenges that inspire me, and this card wanted to be made. i had the idea in my head for two days before getting a moment to make it. I also made a LO for the weekly sketch at Studio Calico, it’s coming up next. Two post in one day! Yay!
