Today I’m blogging for En liten butik and I made a mini alum using some pocket style scrapbooking cards from My Minds Eye to make a mini album. I just taped the cards together to make a book and added pictures and a few decos. The album is about my son. Enjoy!

I made this star shaped card for En liten butik. I have a hard time doing shaped cards, I always have a hard time decorating them. I’m not entirely happy with the outside.
But I really like the inside! I got the black banner in my DT-kit and I had a stamp that matched and I made another banner and paper pieced it.
I love these black, white and gold papers from MME. It looks good with a pop of neon pink too :)
A friend of mine asked if I could make a card for her sister who turns 40. Of course I could. I used some of the lovely stuff in my DT-box from En liten butik. The instructios was to make a card that had the birthday girls namen on it, the age and some flowers. Easy peasy. Well except for the flowers. But I think it turned out great.
I hope the birthday girl will like the card. I personally love the frame with the flowers and all the colors with the black and white. And I used some of the thick woodgrain cardstock that looks so nice. I had some scrap pieces left and it makes the card extra special.
This week we have a tag theme at En liten butik and I made this little tag. When I make tags I usually want to try out some new technique. I saw a way to do a cool water color effect and tried that on this tag that I cut out of watercolor paper. Well, I guess you’ll just have to take my word for it when I say it looks kinda cool because then I covered almost the whole tag with stuff ;)
I just love these chipboard frames from MME. Also it was kind of cool how nicely that Hero Arts stamp fits inside the frame. I’ve embossed with gold on vellum, I love the translucent effect. I’ll probably put this tag on the front of a card, it is really cute.
I got some lovely chalkboard frames in my last DT kit from En liten butik and some of them were just perfect to make cards with. I used this one with some cards for pocket style scrapbooking as backgrounds. I even used some flowers.
I clipped my stamped image to the frame using a wooden clothspin. Super cute! I like the mix of black and white with the turqoise and pink and some splashes of gold. And those Enamel dots from MME are amazingly beautiful! They glitter like crazy :) Me like! I got so much fun in this package, very fun to play with. I love the chalcboard trend and I LOVE all the gold.
Is it too soon to start making christmas cards? I got this cute stamp in my kit from En liten butik and needed to relax so I spent an evenling looking at a movie about Salmon fishing in Yemen (kind of cute movie) and coloring this stamp. It was super relaxing, to me coloring is like meditation. It just clears all the clutter from my brain and I feel like a new person after. Well as long as I don’t mess up too bad ;)
I loved the little chubby bird and spent some time looking for a large enough spellbinders die that wouldn’t crop out the bird or the silly dog.
This card got me in the mood to make more christmas cards. I got some awesome christmas products in my Hobbyworld kit and hopefully you’ll get to see it tomorrow here in the blog. I have Aspen Frost from Basic Grey that I really think looks awesome. And one more series that I just can’t remember the name of. but it looks amazing and now that I made that first card for the season I bet I’ll be popping out christmas cards every now and then and hopefully I’ll even send some this year ;)

This weeks creation for En liten butik is a card with a cool Kenny K stamp. I can’t belive I forgotten how relaxing it is to color stamps. I started out with the card from MME, Bloom Where You are Planted, I tried to keep the color scheme and then I added the great chalkboard-style paper from EP as a background. It really made everything else pop.

I got a lot of cool paper and embellishments from My Minds Eyes Boy Crazy Collection from Hobbyworld and wanted to use it for something fun. I found this great picture of my son building rocket ships with Lego. I really think he is amazing when it comes to engineering, he thinks of everything like how they cook, go to the bathroom and who cleans up on the ship.
I’ve been using stickers, felt embellishments, chipboard, brads and enamel dots. Everything is a bit random on this page.
I attached some brads on the windows of the rocket to make it even more fun. I also made beams from the engine with my sewing machine.
Today I’m at Hobbyworld HQ in Södertälje with parts of the DT and some of our great retailers. I hope we can inspire them. We will also meet Peter Hughes from Sizzix and I’m really excited! I hope I’ll have some time to learn from him.

This week we have a storage theme in the Hobbyworld blog and I wanted to invite you to take a peek in my craft room. I love good storage, it makes it quick to clean up after a project and I can find all my stuff.
This is where I scrap. I’m lucky enough to have my own craft room, well sort of. The desk stretches around three of the walls of the room. One end is occupied by my kids and I will not be taking any pictures of that mess. In the other corner we have a computer that is connected to my Cameo. It’s really just me and my son that are using the computer in here, I like that the kids can keep busy in here and give me some relatively undisturbed crafting time. ;)
Even though it looks like it, I haven’t trapped myself in the craft room. We have two doors leading in and I ran out of space so we stopped using one of the doors and I put some storage in the opening. I keep stuff I dont use that often in the drawers. I also have storage that I got from a store that was closing down to keep my dies and some embellishments on, I like just spinning it and seeing everything. I also hava a couple of bookshelfs with storage for alphabets and stickers. I also have some binders full of stamps here. There are a lot of random things living in these shelfs.
I have a great Cropper Hopper storage for my private patterned papers. I sort my papers by colors exept for the ones I have whole series of and some brands that I have a LOT from. They get to live by themselves. I try too keep down my paper collection to a size that will fit in my paper storage, if it overflows I take out older paper and those that I don’t think I’ll use and give them to the kids or to the school. I keep my DT-papers and embellishments in another place.
This is my storage for my own cardstock, this storage is also from Cropper Hopper. I sot white/grey/black by themselves, brown by them selves and then I have a few colored cardstock papers and they are sorted by color and kept frathest away. All my DT-cardstock lives with the patterned papers in another place.
This is where I work on an amazing cutting mat from We R Memory Keepers. I never cut as much by hand as I do since I got this mat, it’s so easy when the ruler keeps the paper stuck against the mat. It also comes with some small magnets to keep the paper in place while working. Behind the mat I keep all my inkpads and some smaller things. I want everything I use often close by.
I also wanted to show you my binder with color samples and other random stuff, I remade it just for you to see today ;) I have a lot of markers, color products, stickles and ink pads and I make my own color charts to see what I have. I keep them in this binder that had clear covers until I got a bit crazy with the washi tape from MME. I used up amost an entire roll but it was a quick and fun project.
Since I use it frequently I did not put much embellishments on it. I just used some tags and enamel dots to keep it from getting stuck on things when I take it out. I painted one tag with nailpolish since I didn’t have the right shade in my crafting supplies.

Today I’ll show you a layout I’ve made with My Minds Eye Boy Crazy collection. This is this weeks post for Hobbyworld. The picture is from when Castor was nice enough to let my daughter hide him under pillows together with her furry friends. I think he blends in nicely! He was a really nice dog with a lot of patience with the kids. I really love this picture!
My Minds Eye har verkligen massor av olika sorters dekorationer till sina serier. Jag har använt stickers, enamel dots, washitape, chipboardknappar, stämplar och både 12x12 och 6x6 papper på denna layout! Sen finns det ännu fler sorter, det är helt underbart att kunna frossa i matchande väldesignade dekorationer!
